Agriculture / Food
What are the problems of our trading society in Agriculture and Food?
« Let your food be your first medicine » is an adage that is impossible to realise in an agro-food society where priority is given to profitability at the expense of the consumer. The same society that produces considerable waste (40% of the food produced in the world is wasted) while others starve.
What are the benefits of a sharing society in Agriculture and Food?
A sharing society can solve these problems by putting people and the environment at the heart of the agri-food sector’s concerns, which could move from competition to cooperation.
There is no need to throw away foodstuffs because of market sizing, no more losses due to long journeys and no more losses due to consumers being constantly encouraged to consume by advertisements.
The amount of food saved would be enough to solve world hunger!

Objectives of my Agriculture / Food Assembly?
- Revisit the challenges of the sector to move towards healthier, living, better quality food.
- To raise awareness of the benefits of a sharing society in the field of agriculture and food.
- To contribute to the implementation of concrete projects in favour of a world of sharing.
Let’s keep in mind that it is a priority to gather massively in order to make a transition.
The solution to the excesses of the market system and to most of the global challenges lies in the transition to a post-monetary world.
Waiting until we are autonomous “outside the system” to get rid of money will certainly prevent us from doing so one day:
a tiny part of the population has the capacity to achieve autonomy (lack of time, money, energy, land, health, tools, knowledge). = > Humanity is autonomous, in everything, today!
Example of actions to be taken in my assembly:
Raise the awareness of the actors of the sector (associations, professionals) on the stakes of a sharing society and the benefits of the Grand Projet.
- To participate in or organise fairs, meetings and debates on the theme of agriculture in order to bring together more…
- Create shared gardens with free distribution of crops.
- Observe and map gleaning/gathering points..
- Ask owners of loss-making plantations to donate to limit waste.
- – Vous avez certaines denrées en trop, la date limite approche et vous ne prévoyez pas de les utiliser ? Let’s organise local exchange points, once a week or two.
