What are the problems of our trading society regarding ecology and climate?
Certainly the greatest challenge of our time, climate change affects all levels of society.
Its consequences are countless, as is its impact on living beings. The cries of alarm follow one another.
However, it is impossible to combine the market system, which aims to promote consumption, with the environment, whose needs are in conflict.
Forced to maintain the market system on which everything is based as a priority, the measures taken by governments are ineffective.
What are the ecological and climate benefits of a sharing society?
The end of economic warfare will no longer require the human enterprise to maintain sales, and the depletion of resources, greenhouse gases and the multiplication of waste.
Programmed obsolescence, delocalisation, untimely advertisements will naturally make way for sustainable, local production and without incentives to consume
We will also drastically reduce the impact of human activities, by stopping, among other things, useless sectors (banks, insurance, advertising, etc.) andkeeping only useful sectors.
What to do in my assembly Ecology / Climate?
- Review the challenges of the sector to move towards respect for the environment and biodiversity..
- To raise the awareness of the actors in this field (citizen movements, associations and inhabitants) of theadvantages of a sharing society in terms of ecology and climate.
- To contribute to the implementationof concrete projects in favour of a world of sharing, ecology and climate.
Let’s keep in mind that it is a priority to gather massively in order to make a transition.
The solution to the excesses of the market system and to most of the global challenges lies in the transition to a post-monetary world.
Waiting to be autonomous “outside the system” to get rid of money will certainly prevent us from doing so one day: a tiny part of the population has the capacity to achieve autonomy (lack of time, money, energy, land, health, tools, knowledge). => Humanity is autonomous, in everything, today!
Example of actions to be taken in my assembly:
- Raise awareness of the sector’s stakeholders on the challenges of a sharing society and the benefits of the Grand Projet.
- Participate in or organise fairs, meetings and debates on the climate to bring people together.
- Organise clean-up days.
