Transport / Logistique / Distribution

What are the problems of our trading society in transport, logistics and distribution?

Today the transport suffers from too much trade. Between road, air and sea, it is responsible for almost 20% of total CO2 emissions worldwide. All of this is constantly increasing and is powered almost exclusively by oil. The trade war has prompted massive offshoring in countries with cheap labour. The most competitive companies, often located in Asia, have flooded the Western markets. Some products go around the world between resource extraction, processing, assembly and delivery to the consumer.

What are the benefits of a sharing society in transport, logistics and distribution?

Without cheap labour specific to certain countries, production would expand nearby. Natural resources, considered as common heritage, would only be transported over long distances when necessary, as transit routes have been widely developed throughout the world.
From modern, environmentally friendly public transport to home delivery services (1 truck delivering to 100 people is better than 100 people travelling to take away). Free from competition, the collaboration would add to this a state-of-the-art transport management system. It would be developed to optimise all human exchanges from the agricultural belts around urban areas to across the globe.

Les transports dans un monde sans argent

Objectives of my Transport / Logistics / Distribution meeting?

  • Review the issues of the sector in view of its future organisation.
  • To raise the awareness of the actors in this field (companies, citizen movements, associations and inhabitants) of the advantages of a sharing society in terms of transport, logistics and distribution.
  • Contribute to the implementation of concrete projects in favour of a post-monetary world.

While waiting for the transition, the assemblies are invited to carry out all types of actions towards autonomy and gratuity to create a link, a state of mind, a dynamic and to show the example!

Let us keep in mind that it is a priority to gather massively in order to make a transition.

The solution to the excesses of the market system and to most of the global challenges lies in the transition to a post-monetary world.

Waiting to be autonomous “outside the system” to get rid of money will certainly prevent us from doing so one day: a tiny part of the population has the capacity to achieve autonomy (lack of time, money, energy, land, health, tools, knowledge). => Humanity is autonomous, in everything, today!

Example of actions to be taken in my assembly:

  • Raise awareness of the sector’s stakeholders on the challenges of a sharing society and the benefits of the Grand Projet.

  • Participate in or organise events (fairs, meetings, screenings, discussions) in transport, logistics or distribution to bring people together.

  • Organise by profession to offer free monthly services and offer them to members of the Grand Projet.

  • Encourage carpooling.

  • With the MOCICA application you can match supply and demand with the goods and services available in your neighbourhood.
