I. A change

Money: mechanisms and consequences

Money is the means by which we access everything, even food. For each human being, it is a vital element.

Money can accumulate. The quality of life of everyone is proportional to the quantity they gain. Wealth varies from nothing to ever more, allowing us to compare the levels of living of everyone, creating disparities between us.

Money, circulating like communicating vessels, it is necessary, in order to gain, that others lose.

Money allows for investment, and therefore, to earn more money. Inversely, the less money we have, the less possible it is to earn.

Like 4 billion human beings exploited for 2 dollars a day, it is necessary to submit in order to live. The more money we have, the easier it becomes to dominate.

Money is no longer a neutral element, but a master element. It places itself, simply in its existence in the highest classification of elements. It surpasses every element, even life, as it is a prerequisite to life. It is an individual and generalised competition engine, a profound element of social imbalance, a means of corruption, a weapon of domination.

We do not need a means of exchange, neither to organise or motivate.

Freedom: mechanisms and consequences

Being need by others is a fundamental need, and in a world where money doesn't exist, il it not possible to pay to obtain something. This is why, it is in the interests of everybody to integrate to life in a community at an equal level to everyone else.

How do we organise ourselves without money? By providing, freely, your vocation to the community, and by replacing money by a "thank you".

Without an immediate return or equivalent to money, we will all obtain a deffered return, multiplied and generalised by the whole community.

Only freedom allows everyone to exerce their vocation, to control their work conditions, advance in cooperation and not in hierarchy, to obtain personal satisfaction and evolve in general agreement.

If everyone exerces their vocation, we can ask ourselves, "who will do the difficult tasks?".

If a student decides to flat share, would he pose the question, "who will do the housework?"

The question is not "who will doit?". We will ask, "how will we do it?".

The end of obligation of difficult tasks will induce necessary adaptations. We will move away naturally from what is superfluous and will respond to what is fundamental. If certain tasks don't create enjoyment, we will improve conditions without budgetary and human restrictions. From comfort to hours, passing by automatisation and repartition by a huge work force, our human and technological potential can only lead to the satisfaction of everyone.

All things being equal, if a place of production is too distant from the demand, its relocalisation will certainly take place.

The induced adaptations by freedom will have multiple beneficial consequences for Man and the Planet:

The necessity of a Free World

For an optimal and natural evolution of society, we have no need for corporate culture, dogma or “superior” authority in order to validate what is good or bad for us. What is beneficial for society will provoke a craze, which will disappear just as naturally. It is as simple as that.

Word of mouth and information sources are vast enough to let everyone know where to go for their needs. And we can be sure to have quality services thanks to the Ego. Motivation for benefits aside, it will be an engine for professionalism. Nobody will want to feel useless or incompetent in their domain. We will look naturally for recognition, notoriety, a good reputation in order to validate our Ego.

We can have confidence in our individual choices because they are, simply, the best. Nobody can assume to know whats best for someone else. We dont need a degree or a general consensus on what is best, we only need our individual conscience in order to make good choices, to make the best choices.

We will follow the right path, because it does exist, in experimenting and proposing ideas, principles, convictions, while never imposing them on others. Everyone must agree on the system for it to work.

We must look above and beyond the mass errors imposed by or corporate politicians, academics, ideologists, systematically totalitarian and self-proclaiming in their superiority, which have stopped us from thinking for ourselves.

In asking everyone to stand up for their own ideologies, beliefs and convictions through personal, individual experience, we will rediscover an evolutionary, "biological" system: natural selection of what is good for Man is based on personal experience and choice.

Such a system provides only advantages, and they are numerous, freedom of thought, action, evolution of individual conscience, improvement of societal responsibility, optimisation of societal structure, serenity in our social climate, harmony in our general evolution. In fact, in making a habit of thinking and analysing for ourselves without exterior pressures, we protect ourselves from all possible indoctrination.

The panic myth

Once men are caught up in an event, they cease to be afraid. Only the unknown frightens men
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Sociological studies based on events seeming to induce panic indicate that, in reality, this is not the case. In the wake of extreme events such as natural disasters or terrorist attacks, studies clearly conclude that solidarity, discipline and calm overcome selfishness, looting and panic.

Over the course of our studies, based on more than 700 cases, I would struggle to name (…)even just a few marginal events that caused panic
Enrico Quarantelli
Cofounder of the Research Centre of Catastrophes

If this innate behavioral intelligence prevails in cases of unforeseen, frightening events, then it is all the more likely to do so in planned circumstances that have been chosen, prepared and wished-for and that do not entail any physical or material damage.

II. Project MOCICA

We will describe the project MOCICA here. The description is edited to the absolute necessary. Its efficacy will come from its simplicity and flexibility.

The project will work in three logical, simple, effective and reassuring steps.

Logical, because they follow an optimal and chronological, coherent path, starting at our current situation and moving towards a common objective, above and beyond cultures and borders, only taking into consideration our available possibilities today.

Simple, as they entail no pressure or great individual effort, and cannot put you in any dangerous or undesirable situation.

Effective, because in its simplicity and legality, it is impossible to slow down the action of one of its members, who from his/her own actions will draw new members.

Reassuring, because through the nature of this project, nothing will happen if we are not globally in agreeance to follow it. This means that we can only pass from one stage to another when we are sure of its success. Supposing we do not reach the number of individuals necessary, we will simply continue to live in today's system. We will return to our lives without any financial or other consequences.

Seen as we are dealing with a planetary shift in paradigm, we are aiming for a global strategy and only deal with the fundamentals. This project aims to be concise in order to have clarity and simplicity for all involved.

When the government violates the rights of the people, insurrection is, for the people and for every section of the population, the most sacred of rights and the most essential of duties
Article 35 of the Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen,
25th of June, 1793

Stage 1 : The Gathering

We are currently in this stage.

First of all, become a member in the section @subscribe (Adhere)

The first point must come about through the widespread viewing and reaction to the documentary and the MOCICA project.. With the Internet and social networks, we have lots of possibilities. We know that not everyone looks at what they receive through social networking. Encourage as many people as possible to discover this.

Openly say you are joining the movement. Facilitate their discovery by offering to look at it together. If you have friends living abroad, don't forget them. Don't be imposing, be convincing.

Contact us if you can help translate the project.

In order to make our project known, it is also important to see the logo, as large as possible and obviously, worn by all of us. In our eyes, it is important that everyone does their best, through their creativity, to make sure it is seen in their environment: badges, brochures, signs, t-shirts, video, projection.

We refuse all payment towards the movement and we wish to solicit your help based on your resources and possibilities to join this pacifist movement.

This will work all the better once everyone gets used to taking part in the project.

It is important to adhere to this movement long term.

Gratuity, sharing, altruism can be applied from today. The face of our civilisation lights up day after day. There are more and more organisations being set up everyday, which highlight the importance of helping others, of free goods and food. Let's not hesitate in joining them so we can create even more.

The objective is to reach a majority of citizens throughout the world and to insure our fundamental beliefs before deciding the same day, how one man can do without the monetary system in all its forms: bank notes, credit cards, cheque books, change, money transfers.

When will this be?

Every member would vote together to decide when to pass to the next stage. We believe that 51% is not enough to adopt such a decision and wish to attain 95% positive votes in order to accept such a decision.

Once we have 95% positive votes, we will give ourselves a period of two weeks, during which time we will use the last of our savings to stock up on a maximum of provisions for our home; food, clothes and everything we judge to be necessary, simply to calm our nerves.

Then, on the day, will come a great moment: the moment we are ready.

Suppression of the monetary system

On the day, we will no longer use any form of payment: bank cards, transfers, withdrawals, change, cash, cheques.

The following day, we will pass into stage two.

Stage 2: The transition

Nothing could be simpler: in order to conserve a familiar and comfortable situation, it is important, firstly, that we continue to live like before, but without money. We will be grateful to those who have tough jobs and who keep them, at least, throughout stage two.

Go to your meetings, continue to study, respect the usual working hours. Do your job, whether you are a craftsman, farmer, police officer, bus driver, dentist, continue to be a baker, builder, carpenter, hair dresser, lorry driver, florist, cashier, fisherman, electrician, etc.

Live simply so that everyone can simply live

To resume, live as you live now, but without the middle- man called money and live with the best interests of the public in mind.

If it is easy for you to imagine what your daily life will be like (very much like today but much simpler) say to yourself that it will be the same for everyone else. It is useless for you to insist that everyone will take up their role. What is obvious for you, is obvious to others. They will use their know-how, skills, their daily lives.

For those who must change jobs, they will add to the ever-increasing workforce.

From the very first few days of stage two, we ask all members to report back when everything is secure and ready for the next stage. We will wait for 95% positive responses from the members. Then, we will pass to the next stage when the situation will be judged calm, mastered and reassuring for everyone.

Stage 3: Organisation

The priorities

While keeping a solid base in developed countries in order to preserve reassurance for themselves and their efficacy for others, we must turn our attention quickly to under-developed countries. We alone, have the strength and technical capacities to change our world, they don't.

"Developed" countries can be separated into two types of volunteer: those who will maintain daily life in their region of the globe, making available their knowledge and expertise, and those who wish to travel to these regions for humanitarian reasons.

Everyone could participate, for three weeks or even three months, or not at all.

It will be recommended that we go with friends or family so it will be a more pleasant and a more encouraging experience for everyone.

Nothing needs to be imposed upon us: the basis of this is voluntary. It is one of the pillars of the new paradigm.

Who will rule? Lead?

The most obvious is: nobody. Especially today, it would have no advantage and we would have no need for it. Not having a leader is not only a concrete perspective, but also inescapable. This will insure a social base which is durable and healthy, that now, we can only dream of. To not have a leader is the nature of an autonomous society, and autonomy is a characteristic of a great civilisation.

Democracy is a government of people, by the people, for the people.
Abraham Lincoln

Laws and decisions have to be the result of common choice, and not of one person, or even one assembly of people. Laws can be much simpler and we can have much less than we have today by simply basing them on obvious, clear and fundamental rules. This will give everyone a sense of clarity regarding our laws. We can define them together, and we propose, in the following chapter, a principle upon which we can base these, if everyone agrees.

The organisation should no longer have a vertical hierarchy, but should be a horizontal cohesion of society. By areas, then towns, regions and countries there will be an intelligent, studied distribution of needs and resources.

For this, Mocica proposes @GDO5 (Global Democratic Organisation of 5 levels of assembly (GD05) )

A world without money does not entail the abolition of our judiciary system and our police forces. They will still be responsible for maintaining our security and for ensuring that our laws are respected.

We think it would be interesting to redefine modern law texts in a non-monetary society, which in any case would be relatively reduced and simple when compared to the heavy and complex texts of today.

In order to ensure maximum liberty for all, the laws will be based on the following principles:

Do not kill

Do not rape

Do not steal (which, in any case, will be useless in such a world)

Do not destroy Man or the balance of his Planet

Do not take any risks with the lives of others.

Do not prohibit (within the limits of the law).

Do not force/oblige (which is understood in the abolition of definitive leaders).

Task Distribution

When we do what we love, that's called “freedom”

When we love what we do, that's called “happiness”

To begin with, the professions of tomorrow will not be exactly the same as today, they will be in building sectors, resource management, technology, communication, infrastructures, distribution, teaching, research, clothing manufacturing, health, art and culture, law, security, recreation, sport and ecology.

Jobs linked to finance will no longer exist, selling, advertisement, banks, insurance, accountant, fiscal control, account managers, ministers, politicians, traders, managers, politicians, leaders.

Who should do the most difficult and thankless jobs?

The golden rule is equity. In adapting little measures, everyone can progressively do what he/she wants to do.

It is important to specify that everyone is considered equal. Not everyone would do ten years of study to become a doctor, but few doctors would physically apply themselves in the way that a stonemason does, who took only one year to learn his trade. If the doctor could save the stonemason's life, the doctor also needs the stonemason to build his house. In the eyes of a modern society, doing years of study does not give you an advantage over anyone, nor does having a certain trade.

We need everybody. Everyone should make their choice and never complain, whether the effort is intellectual, physical or even both.

If certain difficult and thankless tasks cannot be automated by technology (which is very unlikely) and we do not find any volunteers, then justice and equity demand that everyone takes their turn, by putting in place, organisation charts.

We will ease working conditions as much as possible so that they are as pleasant as possible and we will reduce working hours thanks to the availability of a massive workforce.

Again, another possibility is open to us: the setting up of a year of civic service, which one will do the first year of being an adult, in the country of choice with the friends we choose.

In the beginning, everyone will not have the same size house: this is inevitable. But it is not normal to prefer the current system because it has the sole advantage that it justifies non equity, which allows us to ignore this.

The main priority is that everyone has a home.

Next, we need to renew almost all of our homes while conserving the most beautiful architectural works if we wish. Our homes today waste far too much energy even though we already know how to construct homes, which are more eco-friendly. Everyone will own their own homes and we will ensure that everyone is satisfied with theirs, little by little.

Firstly, the end of the monetary system would significantly slow down the coming and going of commerce and industry. Pollution would decrease as rapidly as the level of crime. The suppression of the monetary system right now, is our only way to stop the industrial, murdering, blind ultra-pollution which should be at all costs, our absolute priority.

Then, we will be categorical : the knowledge we have about clean energy could, without a doubt, provide the necessary energy for the whole planet. All of this: without the use of petrol or nuclear energy.

In a world based on the hunger to gain, why favour ecological methods which offer little profit?

Here is just one example:

Producing energy in the dessert is popularly accepted as viable for example, the Sahara desert could be filled with solar panels which would represent 750 Terawatts (billions of watts). Taking into account that the Earth never consumes more than 14TW at any given time.

Education, schooling, teaching, sciences

Children are the purist and most essential part of our future. An intelligent and encouraging education will offer our society a more prosperous, durable and virtuous future.

The school system should not be based on grades in a world where competition reigns, but will have the sole aim of providing knowledge and necessary skills to everyone.

We should no longer say “that's wrong” but “try again” “you're almost there” “I'll explain it to you” right up until graduation day where a degree is awarded by a jury of professionals. There is no need for grades : a simple validation would suffice.

The argument that “competition is motivating” is true for some, but catastrophic for others. This system is discouraging. Why not motivate through encouragement, which is far more effective and productive?

We could teach children the elementary rules of life, how to stay true to yourself without arguing with others, for example.

We could have a school system based on versatility and teach children from a very young age the basics of DIY, gardening, healthcare, wellbeing and healthy cooking.

Whatever the scientific domain studied, we should exchange our knowledge and favour discussion with a maximum open-mindedness and consideration for the discoveries of others. We should always prioritise humility concerning our certainty, we would all benefit from this.

We will obviously be in better health in such a healthy, easy, reassuring context where health care is available to all.

Strength in unity

Whatever the professional domain, we will strongly encourage you to come together to exchange ideas and to bring projects to life. This could be local or humanitarian actions, at a regional, national or international level. The more we regroup and share our points of view, the more our actions will be studied, correctly analysed and optimised. The opinion of everyone counts. Every good idea comes from an individual. Propose, discuss, share, analyse and react according to your common work conditions. Man today excels in every domain, as much in knowledge as in skill. This is why we can awaken that which awaits us.

If you feel you can lead a project, don't hesitate to express yourself and propose that you become one, but never impose yourself.

Do not hesitate to ask others to use their respective skills. It is very unlikely that professionals or society in general would refuse the demands of others in this new context, driven by motivation and not by obligation.

If today, so many poor people risk their lives crossing borders into richer countries, it is not for better climates, their culture, and even less for their welcome, it is solely in the search for money. It is an act of survival. Why take such a risk if money no longer exists? If they had the choice they would prefer to stay in their ancestral homes, close to their relatives, in the climate they are used to. Tomorrow, we can promise that everyone can live decently in their own home.

Advancing though this project, we will see day after day that borders no longer matter and they will only exist in our heads.

The planet which allows us to live deserves better than this cut up representation of it, drawn up by the hands of men, shown to everyone and maintained by everyone's will.

Goods will no longer have value. Life will rediscover its value, the highest there is.

If we pay for nothing, everything is free: wind turbines, solar panels, bio food, health, education, transport, housing, sport, holidays, hobbies, recreational facilities, everything we need.

III. A New Era

We are in a critical, decisive period in the history of humanity. It has never been so urgent that we react, change, re-establish. This is probably where we find the greatest absurdity in our society: we don't question the faults of the financial system, even though we have the human means to do so. We have all the capacities which we could dream of and a huge workforce. Our potential is colossal.

We would not have as many laws if our system were the right one.

“Forbidding” is only valid when it concerns the protection of the individual and the planet.

“Obligation” would never be acceptable, only in the case of a fundamental duty: the protection of the individual and the planet.

However, bans and obligations are everywhere, for everyone, they are more and more absurd and numerous.

We are currently passing through a transitional phase between two eras, which will remain in history, radically different, if not opposite.

The first, that of today, is orientated towards goods, individualism, competition, obligation, modern slavery and conditioning.

The following era is one of emancipation. It will be orientated towards the individual, initiative, cooperation, coordination, motivation and true liberty.

Laziness is an expression of a rejection of the system.

Motivation is the expression of the freedom of the individual.

It is obvious that decades from now, when we explain to children what the monetary system was and the relationships we have with each other now, it will seem completely barbaric, violent and precarious to them just like we see the middle ages today.

But time is passing and life will always win out.

When we look at what is happening now, it is easy to think that the golden age of humanity is behind us, and the only thing, which awaits us is the decline and destruction of our planet. However, necessity pushes us towards one unique way towards the future, the way of agreement and union.

Evidently, events will lead us without fail to the highest point of our being: a civilisation where liberty, equality and balance rule.

The best is not behind us: quite the opposite.

It always seems impossible until it is done
Nelson Mandela
